Cortland Plastics Expansion:
Due to continued growth in all customer markets, Cortland Plastics International is in the process of expanding which is scheduled to be complete by early fall 2010. With the acquisiton of over six acres of property around the current site, Cortland Plastics will be doubling the current square footage of our facility. In addition, two new Extrusion Blow Molding Machines equipped with robotic automation will be operational producing bottles from .75 oz. to 4 Liter in size.
Automatic Vision Bottle Inspection:
As part of our "Continual Improvement Process", Cortland Plastics is now using Vision Technology for
critical neck inspections on selected molding lines. This is in addition to our 100% leak detection inspection
on every molding line.
Additional Stock Molds:
Cortland Plastics has recently added to our stock mold program a 16.9 oz. Boston Round with a 24/410 neck finish
and also a 16.9 oz. Straight Sided Cylinder with a 28/410 neck finish. These bottles are available now. Please contact us if you have any questions.
