Cortland Plastics Expansion:
Automatic Vision Bottle Inspection:
As part of our " Continual Improvement Process", Cortland Plastics has designed and engineered automatic 100% vision inspection technology for critical neck inspections. In addition to 100% leak detection and vision inspection each bottles ID is checked with a plugger gauge. This happens concurrently while the bottles are being leak checked .

Cortland Plastics now offers view stripe containers off our state of the art two by 140 mm center distance HDPE Double extrusion head.
New View Stripe Capability
Available in the summer of 2020, Cortland Plastics is making a commitment to manufacture Round Industrial Gallons. We will have
up to seven cavities running at any given time. Neck finishes available will be 38/400, 38 mm Kerr tamper resistant and
38/400 ratchet. Also available in the first quarter of 2020, we are making machine modifications which will allow us to manufacture
up to a 2.5 Gallon F-Style container. Our drug master file number 034350.
Cortland Plastics has been approved and certified by BP Polymers to use their KORTRAX barrier material additive which when mixed with HDPE creates a barrier property in the HDPE bottles which can be used to minimized or eliminate bottle flourinization.
